We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and community impact. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the chief executive of a respected nonprofit, working alongside a committed Board of Directors to expand access, strengthen operations, and deepen our impact in the community.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader, strong operator, and passionate advocate with fundraising experience or willingness to learn, someone who can balance vision with execution while building relationships that fuel financial support and long-term sustainability.

About the Role
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and day-to-day management of the organization. This role partners closely with the Board of Directors to set direction while ensuring operational excellence across programs, finance, fundraising, and team leadership.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
• Partner with the Board to define and execute the organization’s strategic vision
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary liaison to the Board
• Identify opportunities for financial growth, innovation, and community impact

Operations & Team Leadership
• Lead daily operations and ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture

Financial Stewardship & Fundraising
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and reporting
• Lead fundraising efforts including donor engagement, grants, and partnerships
• Identify and secure sustainable funding sources

Programs & Community Impact
• Ensure programs align with mission and deliver measurable outcomes
• Strengthen relationships with community partners and stakeholders
• Represent the organization publicly and elevate its visibility

Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Maintain appropriate policies, controls, and risk management practices

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and leadership experience will be considered
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit or healthcare

• Proven leadership and organizational management skills
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience
• Fundraising and donor development experience preferred
• Ability to build relationships with Board members, staff, and community stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
