NAFC 2022 Gold Transparent

Hope Clinic of Garland Earned a 2024 Gold Rating from the NAFC Quality Standards Program

GARLAND, TEXAS – HOPE CLINIC OF GARLAND earned a 2024 Gold Rating from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) Quality Standards Program. By self-attesting that the organization has certain policies and procedures in place, it is able to highlight its commitment to providing quality care to patients.

The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinic’s mission is to ensure the medically underserved have access to affordable healthcare. The NAFC and its members are dedicated to ensuring that patients receive quality healthcare. To quantify and qualify the care provided at the Free and Charitable Clinic network, the NAFC formalized a set of Quality Standards for member organizations.

Hope Clinic celebrates 20th anniversary

This year, Hope Clinic of Garland is celebrating 20 years of “Delivering Hope and Health” to the Garland and Northeast Dallas communities. The medical facility is located at 800 South Sixth Street, Ste. 100.

According to Tanya Downing, the organization’s new executive director, the anniversary festivities will begin at the annual Prayer Breakfast Thursday, May 12. The breakfast is at 7:30 a.m. at the Atrium, 300 North Fifth Street in downtown Garland.

WFAA Features Hope Clinic of Garland

Good Morning Texas on WFAA, channel 8, featured Hope Clinic of Garland, Inc. as a non-profit making a difference in North Texas. The segment aired on Tuesday, August 4 and featured the free medical services we provide to underserved residents in the Dallas County area.

Altrusa members present grant

Garland Altrusa International members presented Hope Clinic with a $4,000 grant Friday, June 19. This grant was awarded for the Influenza Vaccine Program to be held at the clinic in October. At the Flu Vaccine Program, Garland Altrusa members will serve as Patient Education Outreach (PEO).
